🔰 What are some of your motivations that drive you to achieve this ERA Diamond award?
I think the real estate business is one of the very few industries that we can draw a 6-figure income a month. I chose this business to replicate my success in other industries.
However, it wasn't smooth in the initial few years as I knew nothing about this asset class and there are so many things to learn. I started observing the top producers. I told myself, if they can do it then I can also do it. The Diamond award is a milestone achieved.
🔰What does it take to achieve this award and what it means to you?
It takes a lot of courage and hard work. I am a socially awkward person and every meeting with strangers is emotionally draining for me. This award is a recognition of my effort to overcome my shortcomings.
🔰Where were your closings? What were the challenges faced and how did you overcome them?
My closings were from 2 new launches. The first buyers were considering a few other projects they had visited with other agents.
They appreciated my effort in working out their finances and managing the timeline for them and decided to buy into the project that I had recommended.
The second buyer was looking to buy into a new project. The challenge was to hold on to her while waiting for the project to be launched. I kept her updated, conducted a zoom presentation, and invited her family to visit the show flat on her behalf.
🔰How does ERA, Preeminent Group, and ALD make a difference?
ERA is the 4th agency that I have been to in three and a half years. The corporate culture is what attracted me to join ERA.
What impressed me is the sharing culture of Preeminent Group and ALD. The training conducted was very in-depth and useful. Furthermore, the resources are always there for us to use anytime. I am very glad I made the right choice and happy to join this big family.
🔰Is there anyone whom you wish to show your appreciation to?
To my boss Alex Lim who is always very supportive and very responsive. Alex is always providing good solutions to my difficult deals.
He is a superbly high-performance deal maker and I am fortunate to be able to learn from him.
🔰Do you have any tips or advice to inspire fellow realtors?
Perseverance. Don't give up and keep learning.
