🔰 What are some of your motivations that drive you to achieve this ERA Diamond award?
My biggest motivation is my family. I am a very hands-on mum and wife, thus the job as a realtor means so much to me as it gives me the time and space for them as well as pushing myself to achieve the best for them.
I treasure every single time with my family and loves working as a realtor especially seeing the happy smiles on my client's faces as I know it means a lot to them to own their dream house with their family.
🔰What does it take to achieve this award and what it means to you?
I was in the IT corporate world for 10 years and found it to be stagnant, unfulfilling with no sense of achievement despite working long hours and weekends burnt. Thereafter, I decided to make a change by doing some personal business while having the flexibility to work as a realtor, but wasn’t very active.
In 2017, I switched to be a full-time realtor but my performance wasn’t good as my son came into our family and most of my time was spent taking care of him. 2 years later, I made a switch to join Preeminent Group under ALD, my real estate career soar.
I’ve tripped, fallen, bruised, and injured along the journey. Picked myself up over and over again, even though there were unpleasant moments with clients or co-broke agents. I told myself someday I will be able to achieve a Diamond and own a Centurion Cup with my achievements flashing on social media.
🔰Where were your closings? What were the challenges faced and how did you overcome them?
1 Project (Sengkang Grand)
2 Landed Resale, 1 Condo Resale
3 HDB Resale, 1 Rental
Multiple challenges ahead especially with one that links with 3 groups of clients that I’m serving for my resale (Sell – Buy – Sell – Buy). Their selling & buying was interlinked and the timeline has to be very well planned. I have to be very alert and ethical with all these 3 clients so as not to have any conflict of interest when serving them and also the negotiating skill have to be very professional and mindful so as not to jeopardize the entire transaction.
The Sengkang Grand deal is one of my loyal clients who suddenly flashback to SG, demands to show him good projects for investment without giving me ample time to prepare. All in all, within 3 days, a couple of projects were shown, IPA done, the deal was signed a day before he went back to HK. It’s indeed a very super challenging month for me but an awesome fruitful month!
🔰How does ERA, Preeminent Group, and ALD make a difference?
As I’ve mentioned, before I made a switch to Preeminent Group, I wasn’t achieving anything much. It is really important to be in the right team with the right people and the right management.
ERA gave me a chance to learn from my team members. Being in ALD motivates me a lot and inspires me to achieve more. My teammates and bosses never fail to guide me and motivates me in all that I need as a realtor in this journey.
🔰Is there anyone whom you wish to show your appreciation to?
My dearest hubby and son who are always so patient and considerate when all weekends and public holiday are fully burnt for appointments. My hubby takes good care of our son whenever I have to work during days that he doesn’t have to work and providing great motiving support whenever I am down and disheartened.

The most important one to give thanks to is my Daddy God. Without Him, I can never do it at all. Only with Him completes my entire life in this world. Praise Jesus! Thank you God!
🔰Do you have any tips or advice to inspire fellow realtors?
Don’t be afraid to try! When you try, you make mistakes and you learned from mistakes. I always believe you are not a true realtor when you never learn from mistakes in this journey. It is good to learn from mistakes and never repeat that same one. From mistakes, you gain experience, you gain more brains to clear the obstacles ahead. And never be afraid to ask! Whenever in doubt, just ask and you be surprised how much info and guidance you will receive.
Last but not least, never give up! Just keep on going and going. Take a little break when you need to fuel yourself up for more energy! You never know what is ahead in front. A Diamond shining waiting for you? For me, I will just keep on going.
